ADHD UK is a charity providing educational materials including videos, articles and podcasts, as well as an approved self-assessment tool for adults to gauge their likelihood of having ADHD. Virtual support groups cover various topics, while a discovery platform offers strategies and recommendations. Their website maintains a directory of ADHD-specialised professionals and they offer lots of support on your Right to Choose.
The ADHD Foundation
The ADHD Foundation is the UK's leading neurodiversity charity, providing a strength-based service for individuals with ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, DCD, Dyscalculia, OCD, Tourette’s Syndrome, and more. They offer an integrated health and education service, training for various groups including businesses, educators, and parents, and a Neurodiversity Umbrella Project to promote neurodiversity awareness.
Mind
Mind provides comprehensive support and information for individuals with ADHD. They acknowledge the challenges associated with ADHD and offer guidance on recognising symptoms. Mind explain various types of treatments for ADHD, alongside other educational support, and provides information on accessing these treatments through the NHS. Mind can refer individuals to other organizations specialising in ADHD support.
